Not to worry too much about the people and properties downstream from the dams, eh? They need to release water from Karapiro as they have inadvertently allowed the water level to reach a very high level.:horrified Just because your property that backs onto the river is in danger of floating away. Silly person for buying a property alongside the river.:groan: Interestingly we have yet to hear any lamentations from those who supposedly hold dominion over the Waikato, concerning the rising water levels. |
