697088 2008-08-14 00:44:00 I got Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 for free!! From Microsoft! (Well, OK I had to pay a couple of hundred for the conference....)

Haven't even thought about going to 2008 yet - not using it enough to warrant the expense...

697089 2008-08-14 00:53:00 Well I sort of lied. I spent $3000, but not on visual studio. Three grand in tech fees, and I get free access to some microsoft products. Oh the perks of being a student. ubergeek85 (131)

Good old MSDN-AA?

I wonder just how much all the software I can access via it is worth......
