697040	2008-08-13 11:10:00	Ive been on this site for a coupla months now. Each month the have a solo comp. Need more kiwi fellas! I came forth in the last month (of about 50). Its fun though, $100 US as your prize money. infamousguitar.com Last months: Well, it was definitely a horse race in this month's guitar solo contest, and it came right down to the wire. robonguitar made an excellent showing with "The Aliens Are Leaving Me Behind', a two handed tapmonster reminiscent of Satch, but ultimately, yosoy's awesome arpeggios, Rage_O's lovely latin picking, and JKennemur's soulful soloing have earned them a spot in the InfamousGuitar.com Hall of Fame (which we'll be rolling out this month). Hang on tight ladies and gentlemen, we will judge the solos and announce the winner soon. Great job to ALL of our contestants, there are several solos this month that deserve our applause. 697044	2008-08-14 03:42:00	Yeah you ripped it up good Rob!! :thumbs: I've been watching a lot of geetar on youtube recently, and I watched Steve Vai playing For The Love Of God at G3 in '96 That's my favourite song of his, and it reminded me why he's (IMHO) the best guitarist to ever pick up the instrument.
