| 822326 | 2009-10-20 16:24:00 | I just bought my Desktop the day before yesterday, and I just turned it on today, and it started making a loud humming sound, I notice when the computer monitor is off, it doesnt make this sound, but when i turn it on, it starts the sound right away. Not really sure what this is, thought it could be a video card problem, but I just bought the computer, figured it really wouldnt be that :c |

Just to check, when you turn the monitor off you are turning the power off to the monitor only, and not the entire computer? Can you try the monitor on a different computer? Either way, your fault should be covered by your new computer warranty. :) |
