| 821966 | 2009-10-19 06:45:00 | I have just bought a new LG W2442PA 24" monitor. I have connected it to my ATI Radeon 4850 with driver version 8.632.1.2000. I have applied the maximum 1920 x 1080 resolution but the screen has not stretched to the full width and height. I went into the screen menu and could not find a 'stretch' button. I could only find vertical and horizontal adjustments which are faded-down and I can't get into. SEE PHOTO Attached file: IMG_0436.JPG (www.imagef1.net.nz) (406 KB) Can my graphics card actually support such a stretch? |

| 821969 | 2009-10-19 08:47:00 | Check the refresh rate. These monitors like 60hz I think, I've seen a 22" 1080p LG, that had the same problem as yours on 50hz, but was all g at 60hz. | wratterus (105) | ||
| 821970 | 2009-10-19 08:50:00 | OK. Problem solved...kind of. I had the monitor hooked-up using the HDMI cord. I disconnected the HDMI cord and used the DVI. I now have a full screen! What I'd like to know is WHY the HDMI input reduces the screen? |
