821734 2009-10-18 08:40:00 I have an ASUS A8N-VM CSM MB and need to upgrade the bios for the sound to work.
I have downloaded the file identified by the BioAgent Plus: A8N-VM-ASUS-CSM-1001.ROM. What do I do now? I am a bit worried I'll stuff something up.

Then, when you boot up hit Alt+F2 and select your BIOS file..

821736 2009-10-18 09:27:00 When I do that it only checks the floppy drive or cd rom and not the Flash drive. bpt2 (6653)

Yup, it'll be the mobo, it probably doesnt support booting from USB flash drive (using Alt-F2). You'll have to have a floppy. Or Make the USB flash drive bootable (hopefully theres an option in the BIOS to boot from it).

You may have to change the filename of the BIOS update. It wont be the name you posted, it'll be shorter (If you have a floppy)
