696951 2008-08-13 20:51:00 You young buggers and your speeding. Mind you I use to be the same. I had a Super Snooper radar detector which saved me many a time.

Did you know that your speedo is not very accurate. I have been past one of those speed reminder trailers and my speedo has said I'm doing 50KM but I'm actually doing 46KM according to the read out.

696953 2008-08-13 21:21:00 You only get demerits if you're pulled over by a cop.

True - a camera can't tell them who is driving but a cop pulling you over usually check your licence. So it's true.

That's unusual Trev - manufacturers normally build to a tolerance on the side of understatement in speedometers. For instance I know on the open road in my CRV I can do 108km/h (as shown on my speedo), because I have cross-checked it with a GPS - which is concurrently showing 101km/h...

At least you are aware of the issue with your speedo and can take the appropriate action.

Of course it is.
