| 822841 | 2009-10-22 06:13:00 | I'm yet to find a game that runs on Win7 but not Vista. 16-bit apps don't work in 64-bit Windows, regardless of the version, but at least with Win7 Pro and upwards you have XP-Mode which can run 16-bit apps from inside it. I noticed a huge performance jump playing the likes of Assassins Creed in Win7 compared with XP. Previously I couldn't even run it at 1280x1024 without the movies lagging behind the sound. Now I can run it at higher resolutions and higher detail levels and it's still fine! Both had updated drivers and no anti-aliasing. Stoaked!! |
