822753 2009-10-21 21:20:00 Because I didnt click that they may conflict :badpc: One goes, the other wont. Well the mouse will on the other, but the keyboard wont. Any bright ideas, on how to get both to work (I'm in one corner of the lounge, the other is in the opposite corner). Theyre different models (Ex-90) and the deluxe 600. They do have similar wireless adapters, and the part #'s are different. Dont know if that makes any diff or not Speedy Gonzales (78)
822754 2009-10-21 21:31:00 Never tried it sorry. It would make sense that they use similar frequencies. Maybe try one receiver on a few M long USB extn cable to get them apart from each other? Just a random thought. wratterus (105)
822755 2009-10-21 21:40:00 Yea I've had the same problem before at a client's site, we had 3 or 4 computers in an office and they all had wireless mice and if you moved a mouse on one computer it would move on the computer next to it!
Had to change back to wired mice in the end from memory.

822756 2009-10-21 21:43:00 Can you change the channel on either? Agent_24 (57)
822757 2009-10-21 21:45:00 you just beat me to it agent. I have a logitech keyboard and mouse and both of them as well as the receiver have a connect button that I was told would change the channel nedkelly (9059)
822758 2009-10-21 22:25:00 I managed to get it to work in the bedroom. However with the setpoint software, it doesnt start on bootup (like this PC). Which tells you how good the batteries are. It doesnt have an option to change the channel in the sw. I dont know if pressing the receiver changes it or not. Even tho the kb works in the bedroom, it doesnt appear in the setpoint software (like this one does either).

So, doesn't show the state of the battery, in the keyboard. But, it does take a while for both to work.

822759 2009-10-21 22:34:00 My friend has A4Tech wireless keyboard and mice, his have a little switch on the side to change between channel 1 and 2... Agent_24 (57)
822760 2009-10-21 22:43:00 Hmm well according to the logitech site for this kb anyway it says

Your keyboard can even sense if there’s wireless interference and change channels to establish the most secure connection.

Ok, thats good, it probably doesnt apply to the other keyboard

Have you tried plugging in the receiver for the keyboard without that feature first (and making sure it's going) and the other with the feature second?

822762 2009-10-21 22:55:00 The other one was plugged in before this one (only got this one yesterday). I replaced an MS wireless kb. 1/2 the keys had died on it. I'll try and find info about this other kb, see if it says the same thing. Altho if this one can change channels, then the 2 shouldnt conflict Speedy Gonzales (78)
