I know you think you know I live in some airy-fairy something or other - but really you have no idea. Anyway, it is, at the very least, odd that as a society we say that we disapprove of violence - and we have laws enforcing that disapproval - yet we have had a situation where the law offered a defense to primary caregivers of children who used violence against those children. I believe smacking is an appropriate form of discipline. |
