700615	2008-08-28 23:11:00	Good news - my Flybuys voucher arrived yesterday. I ordered it on the 11th of August and it arrived on the 28th of August. That is 17 days. Seventeen days is more than the 5 days they say on their web site. More than the ten days they admitted to me that rewards are sometimes taking. I was prepared to cut them a bit of slack when one of you on here said that the vouchers had to be ordered from Noel Lemmings. But this is not the case., My voucher was a printed A4 letter from Flybuys. So they could have posted it to me the next day after I applied for my reward. Had my first home made rice last night from my Breville Rice Cooker. Just with some mince and chili sauce. Hardly gourmet, but it was nice. Lastly why is every one who complains called a whinger ? On that basis just about every poster on this forum could be called a whinger. I was just noting that their service seemed slack in today's fast moving world. Perhaps they should call their company wheelbarrowbuys, cos that's about the speed of it.	Digby (677)

I've just received a voucher as well after a longer than usual delay. They've recently sent us the usual statement and booklet of beads and blankets to redeem. If everyone gets this at the same time it probably overloads them for a short while. They print the letter but the voucher number may have to come from the retailer after it is loaded in the retailer's system.	PaulD (232)

As pensioners we don't really spend a lot these days and I get really "whinged off" when we get a letter from them giving us the good news that we have gained another 6 flybuys - and then at the bottom notified that we have lost 6 flybuys through not using them. If the bank was to cancel our funds because we hadn't drawn on them there would be hell to pay. I do try to avoid shops that advertise the darn things.	Thomas01 (317)
700618	2008-08-29 07:05:00	They just wrote to me saying that the reason it takes ten days to get a voucher out is that I may be in a rural delivery area (I am not) , there may be postal delays, (dur) or that Neal Leamingtons may be out of stock of the item (the item I wanted is a rice cooker and they seem to have them in stock when I visit). No of course I was not compelled to sign up - but in my innocence thought it would be like the old stamps we used to get in the 1940s in the UK etc . The notice they are going to expire is the minimum - and anyway I really do not see why I should have to plan my life round Fly Byes . I certainly don't with the bank accounts I hold - and my bank treats me very well with lots of respect even if I am pretty small fry . I thought and still believe that the money held by Fly Bye should stay there - after all they are not paying interest . I doubt anyone plans their lives around Flybuys, and nothing is free . . . . but it doesn't take much to go to Shell (for example) instead of other petrol stations and accrue points .
