823125 2009-10-24 05:17:00 I am the only person using this computer and sad to say I did not have any visitors last weekend.

Yes, the column after the date is download usage in MB, then upload, then total usage.

This problem has been going on for 4 months, all my broadband usage gets sucked up within the first week and after Im back on dial up speed, my broadband daily usage stabilizes to what it should be for the work I am doing on my computer.

I spoke to the tier 2 broadband specialist team today and they are going to send me a new modem incase the one Im currently using is faulty.

They are also going to closely monitor my usage when I get my new monthly GB'S, which is not until the 9/11/09.

Bit peeved off, as I have to put up with dial up speed until then.

823126 2009-10-24 05:45:00 Do you have a an unsecured wireless network that some opportunistic bastard nearby could be abusing to leech off your connection? Erayd (23)
823127 2009-10-24 05:45:00 According to the 1st post, its not a wireless modem. Altho it maybe onboard, and enabled? Speedy Gonzales (78)
823128 2009-10-24 05:55:00 You have not said when you are at home, but see if Telecom can show the daily / hourly usage - I know Telstra Cable can.

Look to see when its being used mainly.

823130 2009-10-24 18:19:00 [..]downloaded 86GB and uploaded 13GB in a day! I'd like to know how it would be physically possible.

Ive done it before, wasnt too hard, although it was on a 10mbit telstra connection.
