| 822844 | 2009-10-22 08:46:00 | I noticed a huge performance jump playing the likes of Assassins Creed in Win7 compared with XP. Previously I couldn't even run it at 1280x1024 without the movies lagging behind the sound. Now I can run it at higher resolutions and higher detail levels and it's still fine! Both had updated drivers and no anti-aliasing. Stoaked!! Have noticed some improvements, but nothing of that extent yet:) WinXP was never really created with multi GPUs in mind(Crossfire, SLI etc) and I reckon there would be quite performance increase for multi-GPU users going from XP>7 |
