| 823021 | 2009-10-22 07:48:00 | i'm typing this in Safe mode with networking, because i can't view the windows xp welcome screen that prompts me to enter XP. I think i might've accidentally D/L a virus exe, as soon as i opened it, it went straight into the memory dump blue screen and it's been this way ever since. I've run antivir and Norton 2010 and still no Luck. running Win xp SP2. Please help!:waughh::confused: |

Remove Norton for starters, then download MBAM from this direct link (www.malwarebytes.org) and perform a full scan. Disable SR first(Right Click My Computer>Properties>System Restore tab>Disable SR on all drives) Blam |
