| 822555 | 2009-10-21 01:10:00 | So it looks like my ADSL Router has died. I was trying to update the firmware on my DSL-G604T and now it's not connecting at all. I was considering getting a new one anyways. I was wondering what the best wireless router\modem is out there. Would like to stay around the $200 if possible. Thanks! |

If you have genuinely bricked the whole thing, you may still be able to recover it. Try the D-Link website for a recovery program, I remember using one to fix a 302G or 502T which was badly flashed |

From what I have read, there are a lot of issues with the wag160n. DSE is also a rip off. The replacement wag320n has recently been announced, basically the same, but with dual band wireless N and gigabit ports. Hopefully the issues have been fixed too. |

As far as I am aware most of those issues were related to Vista and a few were due to poor implementations of draft-n and upgrading the firmware on n-capable cards fixed it. |

Although I see a note with it that says it won't work running vista, which is what I have. I've tried all sorts of different things I've read online using the reset button, but still nothing. |
