1445236 2018-01-22 22:42:00 We have our moments, and things get a bit heated from time to time, but I think on the whole people are very kind and helpful here. It's not always easy to convey humour or intent with text and some of the conflicts probably seem worse than they are.
But then I do spend more time on the F1 forum and less on the Chat. I also have avoided commenting on some threads completely knowing how it's likely to go. Personality clashes are inevitable in any group.

And then there's the epic pointless but fun threads, like the airplane on the conveyor belt :)

1445237 2018-01-22 23:42:00 Sometimes.
But then you started a I like dope thread. What did you expect?

1445238 2018-01-22 23:52:00 I quite agree. I find the people on this forum very kind and helpful. If I want to know something that I cannot find on Google I am quite certain that I can ask here and receive an intelligent reply. Most people are only too happy to help. I find this forum very helpful and interesting.

And then, as you say Dugimodo, there are the pointless threads which quite often can be a bit of fun even though they are a load of rubbish.

I'm quite happy with this forum and as long as it continues along the present lines I will be an active participator.:)

1445239 2018-01-23 00:00:00 Mirddes is THE perfect example of substance overuse, and is clearly speaking re himself. Tiresome and infantile are two of the more polite words that come to mind. Greg (193)
1445240 2018-01-23 00:24:00 I've seen quite a few threads devolve into snark when someone asks vague questions with very little information and/or objects to the answers they get. It's easy to get annoyed when someone responds badly to your attempts to help.
You might be surprised how many times I've written something and then deleted it and not posted anything when I realised I was not helping or only making things worse, I try to curb my own tendencies as sometimes I like to argue just for the hell of it.

it's just i know we all have different cultures' & by default i give theirs respect. that i get a whole bunch of slurs and insinuations when i mention mine is clearly a sign of cultural immaturity and the fact that we tolerate and perpetuate it is troubling indeed.

1445242 2018-01-23 03:12:00 The majority of people will answer posts as they see fit. Meaning if its a WTF !! or way out there post expect the same sort of replies.

The one titled "I'm autistic and i want medical Cannabis" What exactly did you expect to get in the way of answers. Not like anyone here ( or highly doubt it any way) would have the powers to give you any. You have to go through the normal channels. you want to grow your Own -- Go for it, but if the boys in blue come calling you will also know why.

Then theres a over indulgence of threads with really Hmmmm titles in rapid succession .

i had hoped from something other than derision.

just remember that all of our experiences are subjective and that no one perspective is better than any other perspective.

You only get what you deserve.

Yet more twaddle. Experiences are exactly that - they happened so can't possibly be subjective! Mr T would've told you like it is! Muahahahahahahaha
