| 1444903 | 2018-01-17 19:55:00 | 2am this morning I was desperate as usual for something to drink. Up till now, day after day, night after night, week after week I've been unable to keep anything down, immediately vomiting after having even a mouthful to drink, including the prescribed electrolytes. (obviously some fluids have been absorbed by my system otherwise I'd be dead by now). So I tried a glass of chocolate milk (full cream milk with chocolate Nesquik). Lo and behold, I kept it down and after three glasses was finally satisfied, and since had the best sleep I've had in ages. Hopefully this'll also help me stop losing weight and give me some proteins. :) |

Husband got a prescription for similar when he had his nasty lung infection...he's so skinny.... I think the total cost was $2, and he'd get a bunch of tins of it at a time for that. |

| 1444908 | 2018-01-20 05:39:00 | I've worked out my problem!!! For some bluddie reason, everything I swallow tends to go into my trachea (windpipe) instead of my oesophagus (food pipe) which is why I immediately go into coughing spasms and subsequent vomitting. I can't believe its taken me so long to figure this out, nor that my pathetic doctors didn't consider this. Clearly my being able to drink something previously was just a bit of luck. I haven't got a clue why this is happening, but its clear to me that my desperate coughing which started after I gave up smoking is the root of the problem. I'm so damned relieved that it isn't some illness or lung disorder, and looking forward to seeing the quack next week to get some way of resolving this. And man its gonna be a relief to be re-hydrated! |

Anyway, latest in my miserable saga is I'm going into hospital this afternoon - my dehydration is apparently too severe. |

| 1444912 | 2018-01-22 08:49:00 | Well the latest ain't too rosy. Spent the night locked up here and had some miserable procedure this morning where they cut tiny samples from my wind and food pipes, while fully conscious! The local anaesthetic helped bugger all. Seems I have throat cancer, too advanced to be operable, and the thought is that it will spread to my lungs. Worst thing is not being allowed any food or drink whatsoever! The IV fluid they're pumping into me isn't any substitute for something real to drink. The bastards won't even allow me a cup of tea drunk by dipping a sponge on a stick into it, which I was allowed the first night. They're proposing some sort of radiography therapy. Who knows, I even heard they might surgically implant a metal or plastic tube down to my stomach will will allow some ability to eat and drink. I got one on them though, I pestered and connived the staff to let me outside on my own to get a smoke, but went out another entrance/exit and got to the shop where I bought a packet of fags, as I only had one left. Bugger the giving up for now, though just one or two a day is adequate for me. |
