| 1444794 | 2018-01-13 02:37:00 | Just came across this post (rog.asus.com) About updating TPM module firmware (for the vulnerability some of them have) The last post has a link to the software that updates it. Depending on the firmware that's on the TPM you download one of the top 2 downloads here (ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/driver/TPM/) In my case this is an ASUS TPM 2 module (20-1 pin). Mine was in the 1.1 download. Which worked. The FW on mine was 5.61, it's now been updated to 5.62 BUT, if Bitlocker is enabled and you use it, MAKE SURE you turn it off before you run the update file Not going to wait for ASUS to update it somehow, but the poster above managed to find the right file to update the FW |
