1445558 2018-02-11 22:37:00 It makes no difference what you call it if the government forces you to pay it it is a tax. All the ETS does is make money for those trading credits, increase costs for all of us and it makes absolutely no difference to whatever the climate good or bad.

Absolutely right Clive, and to make matters worse there doesn’t seem to be any accountability, even by third world standards, let alone any evidence of improvement in the bogus position we are supposedly in.

What an absolute joke. It's exceedingly obvious neither of you have a clue what you're talking about. There is absolutely a difference between an ETS and a carbn tax. It's actually laughable how much you hate something you don't understand.

1445559 2018-02-11 22:43:00 Nowhere can I find an Annual Report showing the financials, let alone a glowing Auditors Report showing how we saved the planet.

You couldn't find your own thread when given the exact timestamp, so I wouldn't even bother looking for anything that takes education to undertsand - it's probably all a bit beyond you :)

Just because someone does not subscribe to your religion does not give you the right to be rude Nick. You are perfectly entitled to believe whatever you like as is anyone else.

1445561 2018-02-11 22:46:00 The thought of us paying $1.4 billion a year off shore for the next 10 years defies belief.

Where would it come from? Oh we’d have to borrow it.

Thought I'd cover this one separately - separate the issues from the BM BS.

Believe it or not, NZ could have a perfectly functional ETS without this occuring (If that was your policy objective). That's why policy design is important.

Somewhat confused Clive?
Science is not a religion, never will be.

1445563 2018-02-12 00:43:00 The problem you have with that argument Dave is that we are not talking “Science” but “Pseudoscience” as evidenced by “Climategate”.

On the other hand “Religion” and “Pseudoscience” go hand in hand as evidenced by all religions.

The “Global Warming” hoax, renamed “Climate Change”, is in fact the equivalent of calling Astrology a Science.

Naturally I expect a backlash from all the Astrologers and Stargazers out there. :D

1445564 2018-02-12 00:45:00 This was a thread on how hot it is.
Here it's been horribly humid.

The rain trashed the grape crop, heaps split....with the resulting mold and rot.

Oh I could have found it alright, but didn’t feel disposed to making the effort seeing it was one of your posts. :)

1445566 2018-02-12 01:09:00 You are sadly mistaken B.M. the only pseudoscience around here is espoused by you.
But we all make allowances for you.

Stop saying a carbon tax is the same as an emissions trading scheme and I'll stop calling you an uneducated loudmouth. I call a spade a spade.
