With medical things, it's personal choice, if you take something, not take something.... I've always strongly agreed with that. My dad chose not to be treated initially, my mum could never understand that, I did. Distressing for her, but ultimately it was up to my dad, his body, his life. I agree there are far too many people using stuff like the latest snake oil, claiming cures for everything which is bollocks, but then there are people who get some help from safe, properly prescribed (or occasionally not) drugs. Their choice, their risk, their maybe benefit. |
