This Crap we are not even in a position to fix! What the Hell are they smoking????? Surely, even some of you Microsoft Missionary’s are loosing patience? Doesn't really worry me, simply turn off settings - I guess I made the old mistake of using default settings ;). What is annoying is on my Android phone, when ever you install ANY app you have to give it permission to access everything like contacts, location etc. Got one app that is used as a TV remote ( the original is broken) the remote on the phone works good, BUT it also drags in all sorts of other advertising. My son who has the paid version even gets adverts. The only difference between the paid and free is the free only allows one device for the remote. Tried other apps but most don't work on the TV. One thing that's is a real PITA is when using Firefox and google (even on Linux) it bugs the hell every time to install Chrome, and as far as I know you cant disable it. If I wanted damn Chrome I would install it. Even then when installed google still wants you to use chrome if using another browser.:waughh: |

| 1444686 | 2018-01-11 21:14:00 | I long ago joined the MS Community Forum. Re Skype updates ever since V 7.35 on Win 10 they "loaded in all contacts as per above posts AND they decided to put recent conversations instead of Contacts as a start point. Despite the huge complaints from forum members MS still will not fix the many faults..e.g some past (family members) free Contacts now only show the "pay option while another from same group gives free option. Many members also lost their Credit balances for the pay occasions as opposed to Free Skype call. Really MS has screwed up what used to be fairly reliable program.. |
