Damn! I should have thought of that.

OK, so you can stop worrying now.

On the other hand... www.skepticalscience.com

Journalists call this time of year the silly season, when anything - anything - qualifies as news. Let's look at a sample of the penetrating, authoritative science reporting from the Express:

---
Recently, experts have said cosmic rays, being shot across the universe when a star dies and explodes then rain ions down onto Earth, could spark a new Ice Age.

The charged particles from cosmic rays pull water and sulphuric acid together to form clusters, and when these clusters get large enough they can form clouds.

And as more clouds form, the climate cools which can have an impact on long term weather cycles, researchers have said.

Dr Henrik Svensmark, lead author of the study, said: “Finally we have the last piece of the puzzle explaining how particles from space affect climate on Earth.

“It gives an understanding of how changes caused by Solar activity or by supernova activity can change climate.”
---

Dr Svensmark has been pushing his cosmic ray theory for some years now. In principle, cosmic radiation could have a climate effect, but there is no evidence that it is responsible for what we observe going on now.

Ooops, you made the cardinal error of engaging with him.
I predict a large inflow of hot air! :D

Well, where I am sitting it's already 27 degrees. In any case, hot air is what it's all about, really.

1444375 2018-01-03 23:56:00 No need to concern yourself about me worrying about the weather Jayess. :)

But I do find it hugely funny how these "Pseudo Scientists" on both sides of the argument come up with these outrageous theories and the gullible take them all at face value.

Like Michael Mann who invented the “Hockey Stick” temperature graph, only to find when he applied actual data he has a “Pogo Stick” temperature graph which required him to fudge the figures and create a “Pause”.

Unfortunately for him he got Busted and we had Climategate.

The first prediction of a pending Ice Age, that I’m aware of, came back in the 1970’s and we’re still waiting.

In the meantime I’m waiting for all that ice across America to melt and the Oceans rise 10m so I’ll be able to tie my boat up at the back door. :D

Seriously, I normally feel sorry for the gullible that get sucked in by the type running this Climate Change scam but not in this case. :)

Never mind, I don't worry too much about the record.
It's the turntable that needs adjustment:D
