2017-12-21 01:24:00 | Same thing happened on the Win7 PC here. Was because of an expired cab file. Just had to wait a few hrs and the icon for WU appeared on the taskbar. So I clicked on it and an update was there so I updated it. It's been fine since

2017-12-21 02:59:00 | F You don't want support - Sweet don't call again asking for help please, and I have also changed over your Nod32 licensing for yourself and son to your email address so you can handle it. Very spiteful, but that's fine, had thought to do that anyway now. Seeing as you just want to rubbish anyone that isn't agreeing with your fanboy MS rant. The thread was about what I thought of Windows, not an invitation for you to slag anyone who says so, I'm sure you must have plenty of updates to do instead. Go do them.

2017-12-21 04:02:00 | Carry on pctek, or piroska or what ever you wish to call yourself now. Can only assume change your name since it appears no longer want to be known as a tech then having a go at everyone who doesn't agree with you. Funny how people who are willing to learn don't have any problems. Keep making a fool of yourself with all the name calling, swearing & :crying Its actually quite amusing the comments about updates, only ones that have had updates are the 5 computers in the workshop, 2 W7's and 3 W10's. Two of the W10's had failed hard Drives and the other just upgraded to W10 by owners request. You want spiteful ? Care to see some of the PM's I have relating to you ??? Well I wont as I'm not that kind.

2017-12-21 04:35:00 | YOU are having a go at me, for not wanting to have Windows anymore, by calling me stupid. Actually what I needed from you was the NOD license remeber? You decided to recommend I change version etc. I did not comment about it then. Then you jump in and rubbish me for saying it's crap. It IS crap. And Pms? But you feel the need to mention them? Whatever. I don't care what you think or your pms.

2017-12-21 05:08:00 | Actually what I needed from you was the NOD license remeber? You decided to recommend I change version etc . . Can you please advise, why when asking for me to send the Nod32 licence key to your email you also asked for me to call you ASAP ? Positive you're more than capable of entering and installing Nod32 . See there's one thing, when leaving a voice mail it can be replayed to hear exactly what was said . ;) As for the upgrading, sorry if trying to advise on what would make it better and easier for you, including advising where some settings were that were unknown that you wanted, since the out of date version purchased has had LOTS of fixes since then .

2017-12-21 09:21:00 | OK wainuitech and prioska (pctek) that is enough. Prioska, you have more than 10 posts now so you can take your argument offline to PMs now, otherwise let it go and move on - thanks. | Jen (38) | |
2017-12-21 10:12:00 | Why would anyone try to update W7? Its been around for so long that anything important has been done years ago. Just leave it alone, turn off auto updates. It will be all downhill from now on, you are being encouraged to move on to W10. | mzee (3324) | |
2017-12-21 19:10:00 | Just a bit of information for anyone whom may be thinking of reinstalling W7 from scratch..Once its installed it wont update. This is because Microsoft have changed the delivery method (update agent) of updates. you can download the new update agent from support.microsoft.com After that the updates should continue as normal. | wainuitech (129) | |
