| 1443782 | 2017-12-20 05:44:00 | I have replaced the ADSL line filter. Phone line noise only started when the internet connection started to drop. | Jen (38) | ||

At the very least if it didn't resolve your issues, it means you've done everything from your end, and you can safely ask your ISP to escalate things. I've see a ~30% increase in sync speeds from the (few) installs I've done. It certainly can't hurt anyway. |

| 1443784 | 2017-12-21 02:41:00 | .... Phone line noise only started when the internet connection started to drop. I get this every year or so at my house. Noisey ph line, ADSL frequently disconnects or wont connect at all. Very slow connect speed Sometimes intermittent , usually not though. It's allways a line(cabling) issue, every time (for me) . When the ph is noisy, ring faults on that noisy phone, it helps if they can hear all the noise or they can do line tests when the line is obviously bad . If you tell them that you've tried 2 ADSL routers , then they wont waste your time checking those . |
