1444437 2018-01-05 09:46:00 It wont come through Windowsupdate yet. But I think it's for Windows 10 1709. Some sites say this affects Intel CPU and AMD CPU's.

But this update may only be for Intel CPU's

If you're using this you can get it from the windows catalog site (www.catalog.update.microsoft.com)

It looks like Firefox has also been updated to fix this. Since it can also be exploited through browsers

[URL="www.catalog.update.microsoft.com can also get this update (www.catalog.update.microsoft.com) to update the servicing stack in Windows 10 1709

Microsoft have pushed out KB4056892 earlier today, 3 of the W10's here did it automatically.

Firefox -- Just checked mines on 57.0.4 Says it up to date.

1444439 2018-01-05 10:01:00 Yup 57.04 fixes the issue. Yup I got the KB yesterday manually. Didnt know whether it would come through now or next week. Speedy Gonzales (78)
1444440 2018-01-05 20:02:00 Both came through this morning no problem, would have been yesterday if laptop had been used gary67 (56)
1444441 2018-01-05 20:21:00 The first start after the update did take a bit longer, that's to be expected as it sorts its self. Once it was up and going shut back down again. Started normally after that.

Now to update the media center, first turn updates back on as they are disabled on purpose so it cant update :)
