1444306 2018-01-01 09:05:00 I run PITHOS on my Ubuntu distro, and up to a few days ago, it was just fine . It would run for days on end .

Now it loads up about 8 - 10 songs, plays them well and just stops .

The bottom of the GUI says that it's loading more songs - but it doesn't,

I don't like apps that lie like that . Is there a cure besides sending it to it's room for penance?

1444307 2018-01-02 00:18:00 Seeing as no-one else has replied...

Did you Google?
Seems several places reporting this, and supposedly some fixes:

ubuntuforums.org

I usually try the suggestions first....loads of weirdness I have had so far, probably my fault...LOL

1444308 2018-01-02 07:03:00 Yeah - I Googled it and got a lot of code entry lines, so I just figured that it might be me hesitating the use code entries here.

I'm checking out that link ---- BRB.

)Thanks) .

1444309 2018-01-02 07:23:00 OK - I just checked that out and although it has a big "SOLVED" (and I assume the post is now CLOSED to any other posts - and the last post was the middle of December - I don't think this is the problem I'm having .

Pithos will load up for any of my Pandora listed artists, but the 6 - 8 songs I see in the GUI is all that will play .

There are no error messages, nothing about Pandora having troubles, etc .

This is just stopping for no apparent reason .

I found that if I use my mouse wheel and try to scroll to the bottom of the list and then back up to the top, that new songs get 'loaded' - but won't play until I minimise the GUI, and then THAT new batch will play until it needs to load more - and then it all stops again .

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .

8601

This is what it all looks like - and once it gets to the bottom of the list, it just quits .

BTW: I noticed that if I click on the little light bulb on the search line in PITHOS, I go directly to Pandora - but it refuses to open in Firefox .

1444310 2018-01-02 07:28:00 I just added JANGO to my stations - and it's started playing THE EAGLES OK - but I really like PITHOS a lot better ---- I think so anyway.

Let's see what kind of musical mix they set up with that group as an anchor for my station choice.
