702601 2008-09-05 00:50:00 Hi
I'm wanting to order something from softwareshop.co.nz
I'm a bit discouraged that it is an online only retailer. Retailers which have a physical presence seem to instill more confidence for me...

Has anyone had any issues, or conversely good experiences with this place?

Showroom plus stock on display = higher prices. They do have an office and a street address and the manager already has a couple of Degrees so you're not dealing with some student operating out of his bedroom :)

She goes out of her way to resolve any issues you may have so feel free to happily buy.

Why? I think retailers who have a physical store are more likely to go out of business, as they have higher overheads.

And because of that, the ones which are able to stay in business are well managed, competitively priced, and deliver a reasonable level of customer service.
