With mobile phones purchased through vodafone, they usually have to send it off to be repaired, even if it is brand new. I had that problem, with a new ericson, which I was without for 3 weeks after buying it new. I think it could be different with an iphone as I think they have to be serviced by apple in oz?

701358 2008-08-30 21:22:00 I think it could be different with an iphone as I think they have to be serviced by apple in oz?Quite a few people thought that to begin with, but it turns out they are actually sent to Mt Wellington, so replacement time is relatively quick. It sounds like a hardware problem ajleece, so software updates won't fix it. You need to have it sent away to be looked at.

Return to the shop and ask for a different brand. That's not a very good solution if you want an iPhone.;)
