Well its a console port for one thing so its not going to push your hardware at all.

My elderly 5000+ needs a complete change - but I'll wait for the new Intels........

701751 2008-09-02 08:39:00 The one I use most of the time is from the year 2001 bought one year used, so 2000. Laptop P3 600Mhz 320MB Ram, 20GB HDD. Works for all normal stuff.

Going to get a new computer in a year's time - PC custom build, pretty avg really with a avg good Nvidia, Quad Core best deal around $400 I guess, 2 HDDs and the LCD not sure. Probably 4GB RAM. The optical drive prob just use the other PC (below) for that, I would like to get a Blue Ray reader/writer but at moment they are still expensive.

The other PC I used like once a month or the 2nd month, is a 1500+ AMD Sempron but since I don't use it freq, I didn't rate this on the poll. 80GB, 512MB. Builtin graphics. Costed under $600 ex the monitor and mouse/keyb. LG DVDRW and Leadtek TV Tuner (non HD). Linksys wireless wifi card with a Linksys external modem/router.

I feel better already, my main computer is a PIII 550, Intel MB, 512MB RAM, 8GB C drive for OS & Programs only, 10GB D drive, 20GB shared between E & F, 40GB USB shared between I, J, & K, and 320GB USB shared between T, U, V, W, X, Y, & Z. It does everything I need but I acknowledge the overall age and will go modern soon.

At my age I could well be running out of time, so I need to make mistakes a whole lot faster.

The faster I go, the behinder I get. :badpc:

Cheers
