2009-10-24 21:08:00 | I'm using maybe an old version of hijack this, since I can't download it from Speedy's link. Also time out going to Nortons and TrendMicro. (Although I could get to Avast.) Windows updates keep timing out too. | 823786 | 2009-10-24 21:26:00 | Thanks Speedy. I may well be using the two comodo products. In Add or remove programs I only see Comodo Pro. Any ideas where the internet security can be found?

2009-10-24 21:47:00 | Pass. I dont use comodo now. See if the IS folder exists. If it does keep it there, and uninstall Pro. I would uninstall Pro, (it may remove both of them since it looks ike both of them, use the same folder), then reinstall internet security, if this is the version you want to keep (just dont install the AV part) | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2009-10-24 22:13:00 | Done that. I've tried downloading Trojan Remover, but it keeps telling me it has expired when I run it. I'm wondering if a registry entry form a year or so back is still there. Any ideas on how to get around it?

2009-10-24 22:15:00 | Cant tell you how to get around the registry to fix trojan remover in here. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2009-10-24 22:32:00 | Reinstalling Comodo fixed the windows updates etc. Or switching back to the Telstraclear dns settings from opendns. I was getting a bit paranoid there. Can firewalls be hijacked easily enough?

2009-10-24 22:38:00 | routers can be attacked by DNSchanger. If you have probs, (and there's nothing in a log), reset and reconfigure the router | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
