703850 2008-09-09 07:25:00 How does one get to talk to a 'person' at Vodofone? I just want to change my credit card expiry date from 08 to 10 - to continue to use my credit card to top up my phone . All the other details remain the same .

Ringing - I'm given the chance to pay to talk to a 'real person' . Going online, I get the choice of either-setting up a card (but can't do that - that number is already used by someone else - me!) or editing/deleting card info . Ahha I thought, now we are in business . But in reality I get the choice (!) of deleting only!

I then sent off a fairly pointed email last night to the addy on the brochure given to me by the local shop (and no, they can't help either!) . Guess what - so far, no response . By this stage I'm getting reasonably annoyed . What do you think I'm missing? Is there any other way of getting in contact with something other than a machine (which doen't do what I want anyway!)?

Advice would be appreciated! TIA . :)

When I changed my credit card expiry date I had to delete it & re-add it, that’s the only way you can do it.

I don’t see why re-adding it to be a big problem.

If you want to complain about this then you can post on the Vodofone forum: http://forum.vodafone.co.nz/

703854 2008-09-09 10:18:00 If you have the opinion that being unable to contact Vodafone is "Woes", there are a couple of people (using the term loosely) in their accounts department willing and able to show you true "woe" in a manner to make even Telecom envious. R2x1 (4628)
703855 2008-09-09 18:55:00 Yes isn't it ironic - that it is virtually impossible to speak to someone who works for a Communications company ! Digby (677)
703856 2008-09-09 19:27:00 Call into a Vodafone shop and get them to do it. When we moved house I could change the home phone number of our account but not the address in the website so I went to the local shop gary67 (56)
703857 2008-09-09 19:41:00 You might want to PM Paul Brislen if things are still in their current status quo.

Cheers :)

Oh - is he a Vodofone person? I hadn't picked up on that... Thanks.

I'll wait another 12 hours (just to prove I am a patient person) but then... Something will have to happen!

Yup. He is the external communication representative (or one of the reps) for Vodafone.

Good luck :)
