| 824988 | 2009-10-28 20:49:00 | I have a Dynalink RTA 1335 as my main broadband connection then I have a Belkin F5D 7230-4 wireless router which I have been using for about a year with out any security, so I tried to put a password into it etc to secure my connection Belkin : Support : Protecting your network with WPA/WPA2 security (en-us-support.belkin.com) and now I can't access it at all. Is there an easy way to set this up or do I need to replace both units with a more up to date all in one wireless modem which I can secure to do 1 PC, 1 laptop and a PS3? |

| 824991 | 2009-10-28 21:39:00 | What if you plug in to the Belkin directly with a network cable? Chances are you've just enabled the WiFi Security and now windows is throwing a wobbly because it feels your network shouldn't have the WiFi. Easiest way around this is to change your SSID (Wireless Network Name), otherwise you have to go into the settings on each machine and tell it manually that you now have encryption.. |
