824968 2009-10-28 09:13:00 Which one do you guys think? Both got favourable reviews online, overclock quite well, look good and run cool. Patriot Viper is a bit cheaper, knocking off over $40. Anyone have any experience with Patriot?

Here are the links:

824970 2009-10-28 09:33:00 I've heard many good things about both manufacturers and their products.....only difference being Corsair has been round much longer I think. I want to know if anyone here have had good experiences with Patriot. qazwsxokmijn (102)
824971 2009-10-28 19:09:00 Just a little note. I ordered some RAM from CL as they had the particular module a bit cheaper than one of my suppliers, and the other who was cheaper was out of stock.

They took the money and emailed to say I would receive another email when it shipped.
7 days later, nothing.

Emailed them to ask about it - nothing.
Rang to ask, was told the system had crashed and yes it was sent and probably a problem with courier.
They would ring me after tracking it - I said no, email me because I didn't give my phone number. Checked he had my email - no he gives me one that doesn't exist. He then gives me another email - that didn't exist either. In fact I'd never heard of it.
Finally give him my real email - which remember they had emailed me on in the first place.

No email.
Contact them again and oh look, it hadn't been sent at all because according to them:

They couldn't email me because the system came up with 2 emails (neither of which were mine). They insist I had supplied these emails and they were unable to contact me. Never mind I then replied to them using the email they had originally sent.

No apology for the confusion, no anything except rude insistence I was at fault.

Bugger CL.
