824669 2009-10-27 09:04:00 My beloved Dell Premium Mouse's wheel button has given up the ghost (which makes it real hard to browse the web for me :(). It's got to be a good three to four years old so I'm not too surprised really!

Needs to have side buttons (wheel tilt buttons are a nice-to-have, but not essential), but doesn't need to be ambidextrous. Needs to be wired. Not fussed over laser/LED.

I quite like the shape of the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer (ascent.co.nz) but it's only available in a 3-pack (have emailed Ascent after a 1-pack).

So, recommendations for a new mouse? (absolute max $100)

824673 2009-10-27 10:25:00 Microsoft Habu, I picked mine up for about 70$ from playtech, they no longer stock but maybe someone else does?

~The habu is a joint project between Microsoft and Razer. I use it for cod4 regularly and it works like a charm. 2000dpi Laser mouse.

824675 2009-10-27 19:56:00 It is quite good being ambidextrous. I can drink my coffee using my left hand while browsing the internet with my mouse using my right hand.
