704497 2008-09-11 22:18:00 I'm trying to sell a brand new silverstone PSU on trade-me, some guy who's username refer's to his be a professional it person is taking the piss.

while i'm happy to accept some loss, i cant believe how cheeky his offer is. I noticed he has some HDD, which I suggested we swap even though his HDD via pricespy is half the price on my psu, he still asked for 25 extra!!

in the end, i told the guy where to go....

704498 2008-09-11 22:35:00 He's it-pro......I thought you knew he was mrivtec.

He's a bastard. He likes to try to ruin competition, pressure sellers into giving him discounts, etc, and selling secondhands as new.

Just blacklist the guy. Or shame his prices, as they are ridiculous as is his postage fees.

Oh, and if you take a look at his buying history, you'll see that he often buys ladies' dresses and clothes. I think he plays dress-ups with those.

Mmm, Palit.

They don't like him on Gameplanet either.

Good price on the PSU, why don't you just hang onto it, you might need it later?

704502 2008-09-12 01:56:00 it-pro.

There are numerous threads across countless NZ forums complaining of the way he runs his 'busniess".

Complain about him when you can and TradeMe will eventually have to do something about him.

He's already had one account banned. (supposedly).

704503 2008-09-12 02:22:00 Why not sell the PSU to someone who isn't a jerk, and then buy 2 harddrives from pricespy? Agent_24 (57)

Tardme's already received enough complaints to ban his previous account, mrivtec, but as they couldn't prevent him from creating another account, they won't bother banning him again, seeing as he does sell quite a bit of items and he is a considerable financial asset to tardme. The lengths tardme goes to protect it-pro is crazy.

I think I saw one thread where one guy was threatened by trademe if the guy didn't see to it that a thread he made from another forum regarding mrivtec's ways gets deleted, that this guy's trademe account will be closed.

You don't have a link to it?

Nah, it was a couple of months ago and I can't remember who wrote it where. See if you can find it by googling mrivtec.

EDIT:

Ah, here it is, on the first page of google results:
scambusters.co.nz 7994c5PHPSESSID=b78a4da87651e580e046c3280275dabd

AND it's a phone call from trademe, not an email. Seems like they meant business.
