| 702992 | 2008-09-06 20:49:00 | Hi Guys I am trying to cut my power bill back a bit. What are some good things to turn off. Eg I have 3 Pc's and one laptop. I like to leave one PC on 24/7. The other two I turn on when I need to use them and try to turn them off when I have finished using them. The Laptop is plugged in 24/7, but I only use it once or twice a week. Phone chargers Four way plug boards Inkjet Printers Laser Printer - Brother on standby 24/7 |

Also switching them off when they're not in use helps. :) The power board won't take power, unless it has a surge protector. Even so, it's only to power the neon light. Unplug phone chargers when not in use. |

| 702999 | 2008-09-06 23:52:00 | It's spring, the heaters are going off anyway :p During most nights these days I still have to turn my heater on. My house doesn't have that insulating pink-batts thingie. At nights my room can be as cold as 10 degrees without the heater on. But on the bright side, those who breeds children as a business and prisoners are nice and warm where they are! |
