706455	2008-09-20 02:03:00	Looking for someone or somewhere that I may be able to obtain a comparison between 1926 prices and today. For example, ₤400 in 1926 would be worth what today? I would look on Google or Wikipedia but what do you enter as a search? I have had no results with what I have entered. Any ideas where I might look, please?:thanks	Roscoe (6288)

Using this method I come up with $33,130.36 Sorry about that, chief. Same as you, but we were using ₤.s.d. until July 1967. $33,000 sounds close. It was the value of a community hall in 1926. Thank you Paul. I had no idea that calculator existed. Just the ticket! I may need to work out a few more. Most helpful. It's easy when you know where to look, eh?
