| 706228 | 2008-09-19 00:08:00 | I am not a Peters supporter but can anyone explain what he would gain by not listing the 100k gift from Glen?. I have not been able to find this information but am curious. | Pato (2463) | ||

Personally I figure its just a massive ego wrapped up in arrogance. Met him once, Biggest twat I have ever come across. |

| 706232 | 2008-09-19 00:36:00 | He has also railed against big business interests (particularly to the purple rinse brigade), saying how they run Labour and National, whereas he stands for the "common man", and won't let corporate interests influence HIS party. To have acknowledged receiving money from corporate interests would have resulted in severe loss of face and market positioning - he couldn't have trotted out the old line anymore. A bit like "not accepting the baubles of office" shtick - even whilst suspended as a minister he still keeps his baubles. Time the Tauranga electorate and the purple rinse wearers woke up and put the rest of us out of the misery they have inflicted on us for so many years. |

| 706236 | 2008-09-19 02:52:00 | Never met the man. But it never ceases to amaze me when the rant starts - do you guys really believe that you'll get someone different or better when you get rid of him?. Have a look around the place. How many of them can you name.... or worse, how many of them would you employ? Useless bastards. | Scouse (83) | ||
