825018 2009-10-28 23:02:00 They are hard to find.

Is it one of the really small ones, or the ones that are the same width and height as a normal ATX one but shorter?

Like that^^?

If so, this one should fit it, it's only 100mm deep.

Otherwise there's the real small ones...

825019 2009-10-29 00:10:00 Thanks for the reply, wrat .

Yes, it is like the pic on TM .

The first Ascent one would probably be a goer (I think!) .

This one, using the same orientation as the Ascent ones, Ascent in brackets, is 155 (150) wide, 90 (85 . 7) high and 100 (100) deep .

Wonder about mounting holes???

825020 2009-10-29 00:12:00 It will fit - I've installed heaps of em.

Worst case scenario is you'll have to miss out one corner or drill a hole or two. From the pics all the holes look to be in the right places. The only other thing is the actual plug on the back, it may just overlap the hole in the back of the case, don't think so though. Nothing scraping a few mm off with a file won't fix.

825021 2009-10-29 01:30:00 Thanks for your valued practical experience. I'll put the case to the owner - certainly cheaper than an HP part I'll bet, even IF you could get one.

Cheers.

825022 2009-10-29 06:13:00 if you get a mATX you will not need to drill holes etc.

the problem with fitting ATX into an mATX pc is the vents are often upside down which of course can cause cooling problems. also ATX is often longer and fouls the drives etc.
having said that some ATX can fit with no problems.

825023 2009-10-29 22:22:00 You may need to look for one without a power switch on the back.... sroby (11519)
