706444 2008-09-20 21:43:00 Do you guys realise we're sailing fairly close to the wind here in the promoting (or otherwise) of any electorate candidates and publishing our statements in this medium?
What about the concept of open democracy and free speech hmmmm?

(Though, in looking up the relevant legislation, I think we're ok)

www.elections.org.nz

Just goes to show how ridiculous the EFA is.

706447 2008-09-21 06:51:00 If the rules for advertising junkfood were as strict as the election rules, Mars Bars would be in for a shakeup. :o R2x1 (4628)
706448 2008-09-21 07:02:00 Seems as though you are laughing anyway. Sorry about that, chief.:o

Life is there to be laughed at Roscoe. Nothing personal of course, but unintended meanings tickle my sense of ridiculous and make life in general a little lighter. I am not exempt from faux pas either, but I try to catch them before I post. You'd be surprised how many I hurriedly have to edit though.

Cheers

Yep.
Under the PC brigade's rules -
1/ It must be a planetary bar to avoid excluding and offending the unmentionables. Mars is just one of many planets, none of which shall be deemed minor or lesser.
2/ It must be the whole thing - limiting it to just the front rules out all the asses nominated for election.
3/ Any mention of "fair" will have you involved in more treaty claims than you can shake a stick at. "Unfair" is totally beyond the pale.
4/ "Liberation" has been previously booked by a group judging themselves excessively unequal until they have everything except the sweat.
:banana ;) :banana

Good to see that your sense of ridiculous is still able to be tickled .

I too try to catch them before they post . That's one of the problems of being a silly old fool . I miss the occasional one .

Thank goodness for the Faux Pas Police . :o

706453 2008-09-22 02:55:00 I don't believe any photos I see. A great example: www.youtube.com (may be slightly offensive to some, I'll let the mods decide though). ubergeek85 (131)
