706305 2008-09-21 18:37:00 Let's see if I get the correct read on this article...

We have a "Baroness Warnock", an antiquarian at what, 84 years of age (and unlike fine wine and cheeses, she isn't better with age either) who, writing in the Church of Scotland's magazine Life and Work in Scotland, land of Stonehenge and Celtic cults now proffers offing the geezer-types because they have somehow caused a fiscal and physical demand upon the local constituents?

Let's see if this Late Cretaceous Baroness would like to recant what she said: "If you're demented, you're wasting people's lives – your family's lives – and you're wasting the resources of the National Health Service." when her time comes to take her stance under a trilithon threatens her.

Cruella de Warnock... lol

Maybe Alzheimer's makes her say odd things.

Funny...but the Eskimos have it in a good way.

The old geezers are put on a small iceberg with a knife, some fire and a parka. They then push the ice into the ocean and let the old guy feed the polar bears.

Hey! Cruella de Warnock! Wanna take a sea cruise?

Lets try an objective rebuttal instead of woffle .

I hope they used a better technique of moving Stonehenge to Scotland, than the did moving stones to England from Wales .

OBJECTIVE? WHA-a-a-a-?

Ya got this self-decried expert in things Alzheimeric and she proffers an idea of taking out all the old guys...pardon me all to blazes...but you look like you might need an advocate soon, if not now, by your icon.

There is NO OBJECTIVITY to this at all..and I refuse to see any need for any either.....it's scary if it weren't so laughable.

I guess what happens in NZ... stays in NZ...or should anyway!

Logan's Run, anyone?

BTW: It REALLY is trilithon, but thanks for the spelling correction consideration

I know it's tricky for someone who believes in fairies to be objective(creationism) .
I don't think it's a spelling mistake to get Stonehenge in wrong country .
I think there may be some sympathy in the good old US of A . . . . .

706310 2008-09-22 01:07:00 Wasn't it Billy T James who said he asked Ben Couch if he believed in euthenasia?

I think Ben replied something along the lines of "I don't care about euthenasia . We have enough problems with our own youth here in New Zealand"

RIP Billy - We really need someone like you to make us laugh about life in this country .

Hey Joe

You seem to keep confusing NZ with other countries . Have a look on Google Earth and see how far away from that place "Anywhere"

Bit like us asking " How do you Americans like your President Chavez"? :banana

Ken

Gack! I did NOT say that Stonehenge was in NZ..OK?!? Anyone knows it's in Nevada now...right next to London Bridge.

As far as Chavez goes, Amerikanz may have to consider him as prez soon.

Me?!? I voted just once in 1985, but the party may be foreign to you.

And...pardon me, but doesn't Cicero look ...er....a little rigor-mortized now...what with all the stone-like stare and grey everywhere? The polar bears expect at least a LITTLE fight left in their meals.

706313 2008-09-22 01:53:00 Cicero is not in favour of knocking off the demented - if he did that would be a lot less smurfs voting for Keys.

(For SJ : Keys = a temporary aberration on the body politic. For the meantime occupying a position with a traditional very close "Don't Use By" date.)
