705266 2008-09-19 05:59:00 Hmmmm, are you sure? The Nokia page for that phone only lists it as a CDMA phone. John H (8)
705267 2008-09-19 06:01:00 Hmm, it has a slot for a SIM card, that's all I was going on.

Wonder if it's locked.

Damn, only the 6275 and the 1325 are 'world mode'.

Time to call Telecom methinks.

705268 2008-09-19 06:14:00 Great, telecom have no idea about anything, its coming out in march, and the phones are coming out in January was about all they knew. Their 'world mode' phones are not the same thing at all, supposedly they haven't released any phones that will work on the new network yet.

They also said it's a W-CDMA network... I thought it was GSM... wtf! :waughh:

705269 2008-09-19 06:21:00 That is the same confusion that I got with TelstraClear who were trying to give me a new mobile if I shifted over. The "salesman" insisted that the phone they are using will work on both the CDMA network as is, and will also work on the new Telecom network when it comes out. I can't find any evidence to back that up. John H (8)
705270 2008-09-19 11:15:00 Why aren't you switching to Vodafone or have I missed something??

BTW: HTC phones FTW :D

705271 2008-09-23 01:56:00 My dad's got a 6275i as a work phone. Seems pretty good to me. Has GPS. Good business phone. sammo450 (13626)
705272 2008-09-23 01:57:00 I ended up getting an ex-business lease 6265.

Should come in the mail tomorrow.
