705145 2008-09-16 09:23:00 Is this program for wireless connections only? Can I use it on a wired connection?

I use it on a wired connection (Telstraclear cable). They don't seem to check.

All it does is establish a VPN between your computer, and a server somewhere in the US; thus making your web requests come through a US-based location.

705146 2008-09-16 09:46:00 Hmm, I can't seem to get it to work. Keeps coming up with "Daemon Start Error"

Whatever that means. I think it means there is a demon in my PC, and he wont hit the start switch.

If you are running Windows Vista, you need to start it in Administrator mode as it will need to do some stuff to your networking devices.

705149 2008-09-16 20:39:00 I'm sitting here while on my other puter...looking at "Bones" on HULU...and I noticed something I don't understand.

HULU is bringing me really quality, full-screen videos.....great color, no busted drop-outs or bad sound...in fact it's 2.0 stereo. I watch full-sized movies...one I just watched is "Captain and Commander". I recommend it very much!

Anyway.....I also see that my DSL lights are not blinking very much.. ....meaning that I am not running full-tilt downloading packets of data.

Now......YouTube requires massive amounts of band spread to get crappy vids in mono...so....how's it done by HULU?

Unlike YouTube, HULU can go for 10 seconds at a time with no packets delivered at all.

I think the answer to your question may be "magic", Joe...

Certainly, no-one has come up with a better suggestion...yet... :D

It works fine for me with XP Pro. You have to be careful when installing cos there are heaps of things it wants to install like Yahoo toolbar. You also have to put up with ads.
