Only two of the tuners are activated Then do explain how I was able to record two programs at 7.00pm lastnight, on TV3 and Prime, while watching one on TV2 all at the same time... I am also doing it right now to test and it works. |

I've just done the same, and The_End_Of_Reality is quite correct -- I managed to record two channels, and surf to a third (though when I tried recording the third one, I got a message saying I could only record two at once). This is at odds with the insert in the manual I got on Wed, saying if I was recording two channels, I could only watch one of the ones I was recording :) I just wonder if the predicted upgrade has already happened? |

Good to see it is not just me :D. I get the same error when trying to record it too. It seems that there is some conflicting details... I don't think it is the upgrade, or if it is, they are releasing it slowely. |

| 704805 | 2008-09-14 07:17:00 | Actually, I think it is the upgrade ... the box has four tuners, one of which is dedicated to the EPG (I remember reading that "somewhere"). The manual states that I can record two progs and watch a third, using Live Pause or Instant Rewind. Obviously someone, somewhere, has decided that even though it would be possible to record three channels, they'll leave it at two to allow channel surfing to still carry on :) (Of course, I can use my DVD Recorder to record the third channel, so it's all ok!) |

| 704807 | 2008-09-14 10:41:00 | How many of the inputs are used on yours? Mine only uses input one... Same here. The tuners must be daisy-chained together internally? I'd also quite like to use the ethernet connection -- download movies off the 'net? program the MySky over the 'net? Play movies from a media server? Also the USB connectors -- maybe attach an external HDD? Dreams are free! :) |

| 704808 | 2008-09-28 03:58:00 | I've just got MySky installed, and have it hooked up to my Sony HDrecorder, which i use to use all the time to record movies i liked. Now i'm told i can only record movies to the MySky, then transfer it across to the HD/DVD recorder, but when i try to do that it doesnt let me. Does anyone know what i'm doin wrong?
