2009-10-30 23:28:00 | I could say the same for nvidia drivers. Theyre crap. Thats one reason, why none of these have Nvidia cards. They crash more, than anything else. The ATI drivers isnt the only install that needs .NET. Programs do as well (ie:cdburnerxp, if you use it). And unless you install whatever version that's required, the program wont work

2009-10-31 05:02:00 | Remember that a GTX295 is two cards - 260 and 275 No it's not. It's 2x 275s.

2009-10-31 12:12:00 | No it's not. It's 2x 275s. I'm pretty sure its 275 and 260 The GTX 295 MARS is said to have the same performance as 2x275 Officially launched yesterday at CES, the GTX 295 is nVidia's latest top-end graphics card and, as that preamble will have suggested to you, it uses two GTX 280 chips working together in a single card (just like SLI but on one card) to theoretically hand the competition its own proverbials. In actual fact, the GTX 295 isn't quite two fully-fledged GTX 280s in so much as the clock speeds of the two chips have been lowered to the same as that of the GTX 260. Basically, the two cores run at 576MHz with the shader clock set to 1,242MHz. Memory speed has also been reduced to 1,998MHz.

2009-11-01 05:02:00 | I'd go for whichever is the cheapest. Just make sure you have sufficient PSU.

2009-11-01 05:14:00 | I have a Corsair 750 PSU so I think that is sufficient for either of those setups. Cheapest of those two does not concern me, best performance and future performance is the focus.
