| 704644 | 2008-09-12 03:50:00 | Hi All, We have 46inch LCD tv and zinwell recorder. We live at off Rosebank Road in Avondale, Auckland. So this morning i checked all the channels i get from Antenna to TV, and Channels through Zinwell decoder. Channels on TV with Antenna only TVONE, TV2, TV3, C4, TRAINGLE TV and *MAORI TV* (all come very clearly). I also get Juice TV, Prime but it is GRAINY. Channels on TV with Zinwell decoder TVONE, TV2, MAORI TV, TVNZ6, TVNZ7, TNNZ Sports Xtra, Parliament TV, Freeview HD. I Do not get TV3 and C4. Could you please point me in the right direction. Do i need a new better UHF antenna? Because if i cant get TV3 and C4, which would really suck and wasted money for buying the zinwell decoder. Thanks. |

| 704645 | 2008-09-12 04:41:00 | It may just that the channel frequencies are missing. Have a look at this page under 'What are the channel frequencies used' You may need to add them in to the Zinwell. Looking at the Freeview website it says that you are 'Very Likely' to be able to receive FreeviewHD and if you can pick up some channels then you should be able to get them all. |

| 704646 | 2008-09-12 13:10:00 | Have you tried rescanning the channels (press Menu on the remote, it will bring up Main Menu on the left and a sub-menu on the right, select Installation then Auto (or Manual) scan; alternatively go to System>Set Defaults to reset the unit (password is 0000 (zeros ;)))). This may help also freeviewnz.tv |
