825614 2009-10-30 08:06:00 Hi All.

How does one change the password on startup? Thanks. PJ

825615 2009-10-30 08:10:00 Click "start" then "control panel" then "user accounts and family safety" then click "user accounts" and then click "change your password". xyz823 (13649)
825616 2009-10-30 08:17:00 We were only at the beginning stage of the installation of Windows 7. Typed password in twice, as requested, plus 'hint',and now password not working so can't continue with install.

825617 2009-10-30 08:19:00 Sure you don't have caps lock on?

You'll have to start again if it still doesn't work....

825620 2009-10-30 08:26:00 Just boot from the Windows 7 DVD again, then delete the partition you just installed on when you get to the partitioning stage. Blam (54)

There wasn't a DVD with it, nor a W7 manual. PJ
