706818 2008-09-21 03:37:00 The eDay is coming up I heard.
We can give away bits and pieces that we don't need like that 5.25" floppy drive :D

I thought about giving a old PC away but cannot make my mind up cos it was my first PC I built together and it works.
AMD 200Mhz, 1.2GB HDD, 64MB, 3Com 10BT network, Soundblaster 16, Creative Labs (Goldstar) 4x CD-ROM, no floppy, Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 4MB (PCI) card. It runs Windows 95 and MS Office so essentially it does many of the essential works as a modern PC.

Its a mixture of parts form 1995 and 1997 with the case from 1992 - the original 386 parts were given to eDay last year.

Does anyone else havea old PC that they still have or maybe they may even still use?

Not a good reason to keep junk,

BTW you know what will happen to all this stuff? It gets shipped to China for low paid workers to sort through .
