2009-11-01 22:14:00 | Hi just looking for recommendations where I can get a low cost reliable server able to run Debian 5 Lenny. Would prefer without OS and without keyboard, mouse etc. Thanks in advance.

2009-11-01 22:21:00 | What do you need it for? Web Server? File Server? How many users? | Blam (54) | |
2009-11-01 22:44:00 | What features do you want? How much redundancy are you after? Any preferences for brand / spec etc? An ML115 G5 (h10010.www1.hp.com) is pretty cheap.

2009-11-02 00:08:00 | Rackmount or tower? If rackmount, how many units? Will you need rails? Define reliability - are you after redundant power supplies, ethernet etc? As others have asked above, what will this be used for, and where will it be located?

2009-11-02 00:17:00 | Hi just looking for recommendations where I can get a low cost reliable server able to run Debian 5 Lenny. Would prefer without OS and without keyboard, mouse etc. Thanks in advance. Sorry for being vague. I am setting up a file print fax server for a small biz. I need an entry level reliable server for the job. I don't need RAID. Just a single HDD but with a good MTBF and components designed for reliablability. If they are energy efficient that would be great too. Thanks in advance.
