Any vote not cast for the government (a minor party) is a vote for the opposition. Not voting is also not voting for the government and any vote or non vote takes away a government vote which is a vote for the opposition. So don't think that not voting will not make a difference. It may not matter to you - and it seems that some do not care what happens to them but you can be certain that these same people will still complain - but it certainly matters to many people, some of them most possibly your family and friends. Get off your lazy backsides and vote. As Nofam says, it should be illegal not to vote. |
